Home Sweet Home

After nearly a week of combined travel and another week of unpacking boxes, we are finally settled in!  Admittedly, it feels weird to say we are "living" in Kentucky when its more like an extended vacation (probably because neither of us are working just yet).  After more than a hassle of trying to find a doctor to deliver our little bundle of joy, we found one who accepts our insurance and doesn't lose our medical records.  We had our first visit last week and everything is right on schedule! We still can't believe our daughter will be here within the month!  We have also found a pediatrician who will walk us through all the joys, tears, and screams that come with a baby :)

It has been incredible to see God's hand in this move.  From lining up everything on the doctors and insurance, to providing strange sources of extra funds.  We could not be more thankful for everyone praying for our journey home and every day brings another blessing from our Heavenly Father.  Speaking of fathers....

Yesterday was fathers day and we got to celebrate Sammi's dad Dean and his dad this weekend.  And I guess you could call it my first father's day too!  As for my Dad...he's halfway around the globe in Israel getting a first hand look at the settings of the Bible.  I did get to talk to him, but can't wait to give him a big hug and thank him for being an incredible example as a husband, father, and friend.  Hope you all had a great Father's Day weekend and are getting ready for the 1st day of Summer!  More updates to come!
